Start by taking 10 Twinkies and coarsely crushing them. You can use a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and gently pound on them with a rolling pin.
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Twinkies with 1/4 cup melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a crust.
In a separate mixing bowl, beat together 24 oz cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gently fold in the remaining crushed Twinkies into the cheesecake filling. Make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared crust. Bake at 325°F for about 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still has a slight jiggle. Let it cool completely and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
Once chilled, remove the sides of the springform pan. Top the cheesecake with whipped cream and a few extra crushed Twinkies for a decorative touch. Slice and serve this heavenly Twinkie Cheesecake to your lucky guests!
