Take your taste buds on a tropical journey with our bacon-wrapped pineapple bites! Sweet pineapple wrapped in smoky bacon, a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Take note
Be careful when handling hot bacon to avoid burning yourself.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get it nice and hot for the cooking process.
Cut a fresh pineapple into bite-sized chunks, removing the tough core. Each pineapple bite should be around 1 inch in size.
Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each pineapple chunk, securing it with a toothpick. Make sure the bacon wraps around the pineapple snugly.
Place the bacon-wrapped pineapple bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon becomes crispy and golden brown.
Once the bacon is cooked to your desired crispiness, remove the bites from the oven. Use a paper towel to gently pat the bites to drain excess grease. Serve them on a platter while they're still warm and watch them disappear!
