Make sure you have all the necessary ingredients before starting. You will need 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 cup of coconut oil (melted), 1 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of almond milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted coconut oil, sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and well incorporated.
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined and no dry patches remain. Be careful not to overmix.
