1

Prepare the Tart Shells

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine 1 and ¼ cups of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and ¼ cup of granulated sugar. Add ½ cup of cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add 2-3 tablespoons of ice-cold water, mixing until the dough comes together. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and press each portion into a tart pan. Place the tart pans on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow the tart shells to cool completely.

2

Make the Chocolate Ganache Filling

In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add 8 ounces of finely chopped semisweet chocolate. Let it sit for a minute to allow the chocolate to melt, then stir until smooth and well combined. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix well. Pour the chocolate ganache filling into the cooled tart shells and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.

3

Create the Lace Pattern

In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt ¼ cup of white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval until smooth. Transfer the melted white chocolate into a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag with a small corner snipped off. Pipe a lace pattern onto the top of each tart, using your creativity to make beautiful designs. Allow the white chocolate to set completely.

4

Serve and Enjoy!

Gently remove the tarts from the tart pans and place them on a serving platter. Dust with cocoa powder or sprinkle with powdered sugar for an elegant touch. These Lace-patterned Chocolate Tarts are best enjoyed with a cup of coffee or a glass of cold milk. Share them with your loved ones and savor every blissful bite!
