Escape to the tropics with our recipe for a Tropical Mango-Pineapple Iced Tea! It's like a vacation in every sip.
Take note
Be cautious when handling hot water and sharp utensils. Keep an eye on your tropical drink, or it might sneak away on its own tropical adventure!
Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 4 tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
While the tea is cooling, puree 1 ripe mango and 1 cup of pineapple chunks in a blender or food processor until smooth. Set aside.
Once the tea has cooled, pour it into a pitcher. Add the mango-pineapple puree and stir well to combine. If desired, add sugar or honey to sweeten the mixture to taste.
Refrigerate the pitcher of Tropical Mango-Pineapple Iced Tea for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve over ice and garnish with a slice of fresh mango or pineapple for an extra tropical touch!
