Craving a delicious dinner but short on time? Try our quick and easy Shrimp Scampi with Linguine recipe. It's a lifesaver for busy nights!
Take note
Be careful not to overcook the shrimp as they can become rubbery. Also, keep an eye on the garlic while sautéing, as it can burn easily and turn bitter.
Peel and devein the shrimp, and pat them dry with paper towels. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on them to add a touch of flavor.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add white wine and lemon juice to the skillet. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Add the cooked linguine and cooked shrimp back into the skillet. Toss gently to coat the pasta and shrimp with the scampi sauce. Serve hot and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
