Take note
Make sure to handle the hot wok carefully to avoid any burns. Also, be cautious when adding the soy sauce as it can splatter.
Gather 2 cups of cooked rice (preferably day-old), 1 cup of assorted vegetables (finely chopped), 2 eggs (beaten), 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 2 cloves of garlic (minced), and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
Place your wok on the stove over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and let it heat up for a minute.
Add the minced garlic to the hot wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
Toss in the chopped vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender.
Create a space in the center of the wok by pushing the vegetables to the side. Pour the beaten eggs into the space and scramble them until fully cooked.
Add the cooked rice to the wok and mix it with the scrambled eggs. Stir-fry for a minute to heat the rice through.
Pour the soy sauce evenly over the rice and continue stir-frying for another minute. Make sure all ingredients are well combined and coated in the sauce.
Transfer the fried rice to a serving dish and garnish with some chopped green onions or sesame seeds. Grab your chopsticks and dig in!
