Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with our easy Chicken Alfredo recipe. Creamy, dreamy, and oh-so delicious, it'll leave you craving for more!
Take note
Make sure to handle the hot ingredients carefully to avoid any accidents in the kitchen. Also, be careful not to overcook the chicken or else it might become tough and rubbery.
Gather all the necessary ingredients for your creamy masterpiece. You'll need: boneless, skinless chicken breasts (2 pieces), fettuccine pasta (8 ounces), heavy cream (1 cup), unsalted butter (4 tablespoons), grated Parmesan cheese (1 cup), minced garlic (3 cloves), salt and pepper to taste, and fresh parsley for garnish.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate and set it aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until it becomes fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until the sauce thickens slightly, approximately 2-3 minutes.
Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and add it back to the skillet with the sauce. Stir well to combine and coat the chicken with the creamy goodness. Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat the chicken through.
While the chicken and sauce are simmering, cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to cook it al dente, as it will continue to cook slightly when combined with the sauce. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy Alfredo sauce. Cook for an additional minute or two to allow the flavors to meld together.
Transfer the creamy Chicken Alfredo to a serving dish or individual plates. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and added freshness. Now it's time to dig in and enjoy your creamy, dreamy creation!
