Take your French croissants to the next level with our chocolate-filled recipe. Indulgence has never tasted so good!
Take note
Caution: These chocolate-filled French croissants may cause extreme happiness and uncontrollable cravings! Proceed with caution.
Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Then, carefully slice each of your French croissants in half lengthwise, creating a top half and a bottom half.
Now comes the fun part! Take your favorite chocolate bars (milk, dark, or even white; it's your call!) and break them into small pieces. Place a generous amount of these chocolate bits onto the bottom half of each croissant.
Gently place the top half of the croissant back onto the bottom half, pressing them together ever so slightly. Make sure the chocolate is nicely tucked inside. Repeat this step for all the croissants.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the chocolate-filled croissants on it, leaving some space between each piece. Pop them into the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
Remove the delightful aroma of freshly baked chocolate-filled French croissants from the oven. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving. Then, dive right in and savor each warm and chocolaty bite. Voilà, you've just created a little piece of heaven!
