You'll need

Take note

Mix the batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of kimchi juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.

Add the kimchi and extras

Finely chop about 1 cup of kimchi and add it to the batter. You can also add additional ingredients like chopped scallions or shredded carrots for extra flavor and texture.

Heat up the pan

Place a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of vegetable oil. Spread the oil evenly across the surface of the pan.

Once the pan is hot, pour a ladleful of the batter into the center of the pan. Use the back of the ladle to spread the batter into a thin, round shape. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
