Take note
Remember, cooking is all about creativity and experimentation, so don't be afraid to add your own delicious twist to this recipe. Also, make sure to read labels carefully to ensure all ingredients are vegan-friendly.
Gather all the ingredients you'll need for this scrumptious vegan Panna Cotta. You'll need 2 cups of full-fat coconut milk, 1/4 cup of agave syrup, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of agar agar powder, and a pinch of salt.
In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, agave syrup, vanilla extract, agar agar powder, and salt. Whisk the mixture well to ensure everything is evenly combined.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes or until the agar agar powder has completely dissolved and the mixture slightly thickens.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the mixture into individual moulds or ramekins. Let them cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Transfer the moulds or ramekins to the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2-3 hours or until the Panna Cotta sets perfectly. The longer you refrigerate, the firmer the texture will be.
Once the Panna Cotta has set, remove it from the fridge. Gently run a knife around the edges of the moulds to loosen the Panna Cotta. Carefully invert the moulds onto serving plates and give them a gentle tap to release the Panna Cotta. You can serve it as is or top it with your favorite vegan-friendly fruit compote or sauce. Enjoy the creamy goodness!
